The Application Process

General

Completed application form

4 CSEC subject passes at general proficiency level grades I, II, or III, including Mathematics and English A Official 4th and 5th form transcripts (required only for 2024 CXC candidates)

One recent passport-size photo

Copy of birth certificate or biodata page of passport

$100 application fee (non-refundable) Completed Mathematics and English placement tests. Test dates will be provided

Nursing

Completed application form

5 CSEC subject passes at general proficiency level grades I, II, or III, including Mathematics, English A General Proficiency, Science (Biology or Human and Social Biology or Biology (CAPE)), and a Pre-health Certificate

One recent passport-size photo Biodata page of passport or birth certificate

Recent Police Record

Medical report from Medical Practitioner

$100 application fee (non-refundable) Completed Mathematics and English placement tests. Test dates will be provided

Former Students

Students who attended the Dominica State College more than seven (7) years ago are considered new applicants and are required to follow all the steps for admission. Students who have been out of school for one to six years are required to fill out a matriculation form, pay the necessary fees, and be advised by an Academic Advisor.

Transfer Students

4 CSEC subject passes at General Proficiency level grades I, II, or III, including English A and Mathematics / High School Diploma

Pass in English as a Second Language programme (ESL)

Official Transcript and course outlines from previous College/ University (to be sent by the College/University)

DSC passes in English and Math Placement Test

Steps for application process

  • Complete the online application.
  • Submit the printed application form with one passport-size photo, the biodata page of your passport or birth certificate, and your 4th and 5th form transcripts to the Office of Admissions and the $100 application fee (non-refundable and subject to change) to the Office of the Bursar.
  • Complete the Mathematics and English placement tests.
  • Await acceptance letter
  • If you have been accepted, Settle fees at the Bursar's Office or via the NBD MoBanking app (the College is listed as a merchant). Contact the Bursar's Office for more information: 767-275-6603 or [email protected]/[email protected]
  • PLEASE NOTE: APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER DEADLINE WILL PAY A LATE FEE OF $120.00
