Dominica State College Celebrates Creole Day with Festivities and Competitions
On Creole Day the Dominica State College plans to stage a student activity centered around Kweyol.
Students will put on performances, and several activities will take place to honor the day.
The event starts at 10am at Lower Campus and is expected to run until 12pm. Students will be released from school early that day, after which staff and faculty will remain to further socialize.
On that day, DSC will also hold a competition for both students and staff. This will be centered around the Creole Wear. The person voted Best Dressed will receive a prize compliments a sponsor.
