DSC Hosts Unity, Praise & Worship Gathering Under the Theme “Bridging the Gap, Building Together”

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Dominica State College (DSC) hosted a heartfelt Unity, Praise & Worship Gathering, themed “Bridging the Gap, Building Together.” This event, organized in partnership with the management, faculty, staff, and students, took place at The Rotunda during the Activity Period.

The program was enriched with a variety of activities aimed at fostering a sense of community and spiritual connection. Attendees participated in uplifting praise and worship sessions, followed by engaging scripture readings that set the tone for reflection and collective prayer. A key highlight was the prayer for unity among students and leadership, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and support within the DSC community.

The scripture focus, drawn from 1 Corinthians 12:12, resonated deeply with participants: “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.” This message underscored the essence of unity and the diverse roles each individual plays in the community. The gathering concluded with a corporate song of unity, leaving everyone inspired and connected.

Attendees were reminded that together, we build and thrive as one body within the DSC family. Overall, the event was a significant step in strengthening bonds and celebrating the spirit of unity at the college.
