GDI Fellowship Opens Applications for Caribbean-Focused Digital Infrastructure Training
The GDI Fellowship offers a dynamic, multi-stage learning experience focused on the physical foundations of the Internet, with a strong emphasis on Caribbean realities and regional priorities.
Led by the University of California, Berkeley through its Global Digital Infrastructure Program, in collaboration with the SubOptic Foundation and other academic and industry partners, the fellowship aims to build a sustainable community of practice and develop future leaders in resilient global digital infrastructure.
Participants will benefit from:
- Access to UC Berkeley–certified courses covering key areas such as subsea and terrestrial networks, IXPs, data centers, routing, and more
- Support to complete an advanced certification
- An intensive in-person module focused on applying knowledge within real-world Caribbean contexts
Applications are open and reviewed on a rolling basis starting March 1.
